TESTING PROCESS

  • Please do not eat, drink, or smoke 30 minutes prior to collection
  • Wash hands and use gloves whenever possible
  • Do not touch the collection-end of the swab with your fingertips

VIGOROUSLY ROLL the swab on the inside of EACH cheek for 30 seconds. The objective is to gather cells from the cheek. Pressure from the swabbing action should be evident on the outer cheek.

After collection, replace swab in the plastic tube and close tightly. Label the tube with:

  • first and last name
  • date of birth
  • date of swab collection

If possible, prior to shipping, swabs should be stored in a refrigerator.

Place closed collection device and completed Patient Requisition Form back into the white envelope. Seal the envelope.

Returns are accepted for unopened tests only. All testing materials must be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. Return shipping is the responsibility of the sender.
